At Fine Art Matters we work as Art Consultants, working locally, nationally and internationally.
Trish Garrett, Principal/Director of Design for Fine Art Matters is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art. Trish’s past work experience includes the position with HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates - Hospitality Interior Design Consultants as, Senior Art Consultant for Art Group International, their Fine Art Buying Group, specializing in the procurement of Art for international four and five star hotels. This included the selection and purchasing of art and framing for all interior and exterior areas of hotels, sourcing internationally, working with designers, coordinating the shipping and on-site installation. Prior to this Trish developed the careers of emerging and established painters and sculptors by promoting them to national and international galleries, museum curators, critics, art advisors and non-profit organizations, acquiring gallery representation in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago for the exhibition and sales of the artists' work. She arranged and organized art exhibitions to travel nationally and internationally to museums and university galleries.
Ms. Garrett Fox has continued in her own practice, with many long term client relationships for 25 years, working with a broad range of major accounts that are exceptionally satisfied and bring FAM back for redesign, development and implementation.
Ms. Garrett Fox is active in community organizations and has served as the Volunteer Committee Chairperson for AIA Santa Barbara, 8th Annual ArchitecTours; Venice Art Walk, Docent Artist Liaison and the MOCA Contemporaries, Communications Chairperson.
